Red Rose Buds Whole - Wildcrafted

The Cabbage Rose, or Rosa Centifolia (centifolia means 'hundred petals'). Also known as the Provence Rose and Rose de Mai. The Cabbage Rose holds Dutch origins being the first grown in the seventeenth century.

The rose buds can be used in herbal sachets or in your favourite potpourri, do it yourself creams and lotions, shampoos, facial steams, baths, salves and body mist, massage oil.

ROSE OIL
Make your own Rose Oil by infusing the oil with dried roses. Fill a jar 2/3 full with dried rose buds and pour olive oil over the top covering the roses with about 1 inch of extra oil. Close tightly with lid and leave to infuse for 2 to 3 weeks. Strain out the rose buds and pour rose-infused oil into a clean jar.

ROSE & CLAY FACE MASK
Mix 2 teaspoons white clay with 1 teaspoon dried roses, ground or powdered. Add enough water to form a paste. Spread over the face, avoiding the eyes. Leave on for 15 minutes before removing with warm water and a wash cloth.
